Resource Requirements
Our project will require the following
hardware:
- Current vehicle components:
- Team Associated RC10-T 1:10 scale kit car
- Futaba steering servo
- Team Novak throttle control module
- Lab hardware:
- Xilinx FPGA and XESS board
- Color digital camera
- Misc. hardware to control the steering servo and
throttle control
- Battery pack to power local hardware (car is
self-powered using existing rechargeable battery pack).
- Computer terminal for internet control.
- Hardware obtained elsewhere:
- >1 Mbps wireless internet connection and corresponding
modem.
We will also (of course) use the
lab's development software packages and hardware debugging tools extensively.
