• Rule:

• Suggestion for series terminations: Reduce Rs by 33%

  • Example: If Z=50, choose Rs = 33 Ohms
    • Driver has a finite source impedance
    • Line loads cause Z?
    • Slight overshoot is good (fast edges)
    • Smaller transients on line
