CSE466 Reference Materials

There is no required textbook. We've collected a variety of data sheets and papers for you.

You will find the following reference materials very useful in the first half of the course:

1. Excerpts from the ATmega16 Datasheet (the microcontroller we will be using throughout the quarter)
2. DLP-2232M Datasheet (the USB adapter device we will be using for the first project)
3. FT2232 (USB Chip) Application Note on using the MPSSE (Multi-Protocol Synchronous Serial Engine) (the chip on the USB adapter board)

You will find the following reference materials very useful in the second half of the course:

• Chapters 1-4 and 10 from the Linux Device Drivers book
• The Intel PXA271 Developer's Manual
• The iMote2 datasheet
