There is now a practice exam linked to from the course home page. You can
also find the format sheet I passed out last week there.
The questions are not necessarily representative in that the content
covered is skewed towards what you asked for; however, the difficulty of
the questions should be about right.
I'll distribute a solution key on Friday.
FAQ:
Do we need scantron sheets?
- No.
Are we allowed to bring an equation sheet?
- Yes, one 8.5" x 11" sheet. You may write on both sides.
Will this exam leave us pressed for time?
- My intention is that you will have plenty of time.
Are the final exam questions going to be like the homework questions?
I'm not sure I'd be able to answer a homework question during an exam time
frame.
- They will be similar in spirit, but a bit shorter; plus, some of the
questions may cover familiar ground.
It is hard to remember all the acronyms. Will you be explicit to avoid
confusion about names?
- I'll do my best. Questions on the practice final are representative.
Cheers,
Janet
