I've heard there is some misinformation going around about the late
policy. Here's a clarification:
You get a total of 4 late days for Fishnet assignments and 3 late days for
homework assignments. That means you can turn in one homework assignment
3 days late, or each homework assignment 1 day late.
Each late day is one calendar day. The weekend counts as one day. For
example, if homework is due on Thursday, it is one day late on Friday, two
days late on Monday, and three days late on Tuesday. You may slip your
paper under my door (CSE210) if I'm not around.
You do not lose points for using late days. However, you get a limited
number, and you will not receive a grade on assignments that are turned in
beyond the number of late days you are allowed.
Sorry for any confusion -- I hope this helps clear things up.
Cheers,
Janet
