As a student just discovered, the keyboard input has never really worked
on Windows, and we decided to disable it. This means you can run the
simulator with a script on Windows, but you won't be able to type input
directly into the simulator or emulator. I'm sorry this didn't get into
the "Intro to Fishnet" document.
If you don't have an instructional Linux account yet, I encourage you to
get started on the assignment using the simulator, and try out the
emulator when you have your Linux account.
