Who does the sets? Ultimately the modelers, however Layout and lighting need to collaborate on sets

Layout will create set list w/ elements in each shot

Priority is creating ground, cornstalks/sunflower, etc…

Storyboard:

Shot assignments – animatics and motion

For assignments, determine what is the action and what is he story for each shot by EOD

Mouse needs rigging and mouth (may need blend shapes)

Shading and Lighting:

Decisions of color and brightness w/ concept art

Lighting scheme determined, will proceed with multiple days of lighting as it gives better diversity.

Shading issue, which 3d paint package to use?

Squirrel surface textures, consider grey trim and brown scheme

   Use fur where needed, head, tail etc… TBD. Involve  EFX team for feasibility study

 

Reference:

Makes sure we have reference for our shots

For vehicles use the scale models and photos

 

EFX:

FX list looks good, items related to farm interior can be cut (FX12,13)

Dust a big deal

Corn, Sunflower motion and mud also major

Priority by shot assignments

Issue with scarecrow cloth, test ahead of model
