Checking Mail

To log in to the UW computer where you have an email account, like Dante, enter the following at the prompt in your shell:

prompt% telnet dante.u

Mapping gfilesrv2

Right-click "My Network Places" from the desktop.  Select "Map Network Drive".  For "Drive:", select "X".  For "Folder:" type in "\\gfilesrv2\student_data".  If you are logging in remotely, you'll have to type in "\\gfilesrv2.cs.washington.edu\student_data" and connect using a different user name.  For user name, you type in "CSEPCLAB/username".
