Used a meshy dragon, tried various different camera angles with assorted lighting, decided it looked best from a diagonal view from above. I also tried some other models, except importing models then exporting models always makes them lose their materials, which basically means I can realistically have 1 material property, otherwise I'd have to go through a huge number of vertices, dissecting their ordering to add materialistic properties. With somewhat uniform color, some models lost their flavor. Modeler constraints also make it quite difficult to make something that pleases me, so I ended up using this model from online. For the submission, I had one direction light pointing towards the origin with an angle slightly larger then the camera view angle, with weak point lights to the left and right of the dragon and stronger point lights from the back. Using aliasing, I created this imperfect scaly dragon.
