A lot of swapping and preserve-loading to create and combine different edits of this photo like a mural. Mainly, auto-paint and the multi-resolution autopaint feature so that larger circles are painted in the dark areas of the gradient and detailed circles in the center. Then an actual dissolve to give it a vignette effect, followed by color editing to up the contrast and give it a slight red tone.
