This is a scene of a glass ball enclosed in a cube. The cube is made out of 12 cylinders with a ball in each of the 8 corners. I used an index of refraction of 1.3 to get the desired effect. The enclosed ball is hovering over a very large box used as a ground plane so we can see the shadows.
