This image is a rendering of a quaternion Julia fractal raytraced at 1024x1024.  Antialiasing has also been implemented.  The scene was rendered with two directional lights and a single point light to the right of the viewer in order to achieve the nice glossy effect.

Note: Some browsers automatically resize images to fit the window.  You may need to click on the image in order to expand it to fullsize - otherwise the fractal will exhibit pretty bad aliasing artifacts.
