"The Planets"

Modern art meets .ray file in this artifact.
Spheres, squares and cylinders combine to demonstrate reflection and refraction.  The transmissive and emissive qualities of the objects rendered are chosen with the abilities of the raytracer in mind. Lighting includes directional and point lights as well as emissive objects placed near a sphere of index 1.50.
