Window To A Nebulous World ========================== This image was created using a capture of a false-colored region of the Mandlebrot Set fractal. The backgound matting was sampled from a slightly color-adjusted version of the capture and painted using a large alpha mapped brush. The inner "window" consists of a slightly smaller version of the capture, blended (with the image blender) with black "stained-glass" lines, which were created using the line and scattered circle brushes on an all-white canvas. Finally, a picture of a small plant, impressionized with an autopainted scattered line brush, was blended with the rest to complete the scene. A final mean/smoothing filter kernel was applied to create the finished piece.
