Lee Murphy 9924678 CSE 457 Graphics Scene Description I watched the old "War of the Worlds" movie over the weekend and the image of the alien's eye that had a seperate red, green, and blue lens stuck with me. So I took an existing scene, I think it was reflection, and took out all of the objects, except for the directional light. I recreated the three walls and made all of them reflective, mainly because I like reflection effects. Then I added about four points lights in various places for added light. That looked kinda crazy. Then I put in three spheres and color them red, green , and blue. Then I stuck in a lens-like sphere in the center because it would hopefully refract some of the light that is bouncing off each of the three spheres. It looked pretty neat so I kept it. I was kinda trying to make the spheres look like they were in a specific configuration, but were actually offset creating some interesting effects. If you loooking in the reflected image you can get a better idea of how things are actually positioned. To make sure I utilized our whistle I made sure that I turned anti aliasing on. That's pretty much it.
