Here's an animation with 800 frames made from a set of .ray files. The point of view zooms from (10,10,10) to the origin, where a pyramid is placed which rotates about the z-axis. A mandelbrot (flat) fractal rotates in the background, and three semitransparent colored balls orbit in such a way that they never collide, and that their axis of orbit are all orthogonal. The pyramid was made recursively given four points and a depth. Notice in the snapshot how the mandelbrot set reflects a reflection of itself from off the red sphere, and the pyramid has a nice shadow.
