CSE 456 - Story for Digital Animation

Cinematography Exercise for Thursday (7/21), 10:30 AM

Red Group: Revise the first Five Shot Sequence you were assigned based on the feedback you received. Then apply these techniques to the END sequence of your story when your protagonist decides not to follow the crowd. You will need to add one more board to current sequence you have (the "insert" shot is missing) before revising the sequence. When successfully completed, you will be expected to incorporate as much of the Five Shot logic into the rest of your story as possible.

Blue Group: Revise the first Five Shot Sequence you were assigned based on the feedback you received. Then apply these techniques to the moment the Chef realizes Mei likes the fireworks and decides to add fireworks to his entrees. When successfully completed, you will be expected to incorporate as much of the Five Shot logic into the rest of your story as possible.

Note for both groups: Use revisions to your beat sheets, shotlists, and/or technical storyboards (the "floor plan" Erik drew for blue group in class) to work out your visual language before thumbnailing or boarding.
