Assignment #3

Your Assignment #3 is divided into two parts. Please complete both parts and send them via to me, Brian, and JP by Wednesday at midnight (tomorrow night). Both parts should be easier to complete after your exposure to new story creation ideas that will be covered in class on July 1.

Part A

Review your Assignment #1 and #2 and revise both based on a deeper understanding of the seven steps and story armature. Correct your seven steps where needed and make sure that your steps support your armature. Pare down your steps to reflect the bare minimum required to tell what your story is really about. Then resubmit both assignments when you feel they are as tightly designed and coherent as you can make them.

Part B

With the same newfound understanding of armature and clones, create two more stories. Create seven logical steps to support the following armatures and present your text in the most succinct manner.

Story 1 - Love is worth the risk

Story 2 - Love is worth the wait.

You will be asked to review your story and stories from other students in study groups in class on Thursday so please print five copies of your completed assignment and bring them with you to class Thursday to share with your group.
