Sage our protagonist is standing in the middle of the village. |

Sage watches the people around her going about their everyday work focusing on the medallions they wear. |

Sage has no medallion. |

Determination takes hold of sage and she sets off to earn herself a medallion. |

ACT II |

A circle of girls sitting together weaving baskets |

A girl is pleased with her basket and holds it in front of her |

2 |
The Elder looks on from afar and smiles then looks towards Sage |
|
2 |
Sage has created a mess of weaving fibers, her basket is non functional and the elder is disappointed. (fade out) |

Canoes lined up along the beach shore. |
|
2 |
Girl standing behind a completed canoe, elder is pleased and presents the girl with a medallion. |

2 |
Sage’s canoe is non functional and she seems to be not giving her fullest serious effort to make a perfect canoe |

Elder sees sage’s attempt and walks away disappointed, Sage is also disappointed in her failure. |

Sage wants to escape, runs to the edge of the ocean and looks across the vast nothingness. |

3 |
Sage realizes there is no place to go so she turns back to the island interior and disappears into the jungle. |

4 |
Sage walks through the jungle heading further from the village. |
|
4 |
She comes to a stream in the jungle and kneels next to it she cries into the water. |
|
4 |
Sage hears a suspicious noise and her head snaps up to look across the stream |
|
4 |
Sage watches the bed of reeds on the opposite side of the stream intently |

4 |
A frog jump into the water quickly followed by a claw filled paw. |

Sage is terrified |

Glowing eyes emerge from the reeds |

Sage gets up and frantically runs for the jungle edge dodging an weaving vegetation. |

Camera cuts back to the “danger” and we see it is only a panther cub (harmless) |

4 |
Sage continues running (unaware that there is no danger) She trips and falls on a root sticking out of the ground |

Sage looks behind her in terror as a large beastly shadow descends upon her. |
|
4 |
She gets to her feet and Runs back into the forest more frantic than ever. |
|
4 |
Camera cuts back to the “beastly shadow” and we see it is simply a palm tree in a foreboding shape. |

Sage runs back to the village |

ACT III |
5 |
We see the village as sage emerges from the jungle and realizes there is nothing chasing her. |

She is exhausted, and wants to rest, she sits next to the fire. |

5 |
People begin to ask sage what happened and why she was so panicked. |
|
5 |
Sage begins to tell her story. |
|
5 |
More gather to listen as she recounts her adventure in the jungle. |

Cut scenes of what happened and Sage explaining the events. |

Sage throws her hands up to imitate claws and growls loudly. |

The Audience jumps back in terror. |
|
5 |
Sage continues her story, as its drawing to an end an elder emerges from the crowd. |

She approaches sage and presents her with a gift |

5 |
Sage is appreciative and amazed as she looks at the Storyteller medallion in her hands. |

The villagers around sage oohhhh and awwww when they see the medallion. |
