Greek Marble Stele
Source and Annotated Image
This image depicts an ancient Greek stele made of marble, which was obtained from Laure's
old flashcard stockpile for a past classics course. This image was chosen because it has well
defined edges and an overall geometric shape suitable for single view modeling. The sphinx was
excluded from the modeling due to its high level of detail and irregular shape.

Roman Fresco Wall Painting
Source and Annotated Image
This image is a photo of a Roman fresco wall painting exhibit at the Metropoliton Museum. (This
specific image came from Laure's old classics flashcard stockpile as well). Its distinct edges and
vanishing points made it suitable for single view modeling, as well as the reverse perspective
cutout. Although in retrospect, the vanishing points of the image did not extend far enough to
optimize the optical illusion of the reverse perspective cutout.
For this image, two models were constructed, a simplistic box model for the reverse perspective,
and a more detailed model incoporating the items in the room as well as the ceiling.

The full VRML of the reverse perspective moel may be seen here.
