Sequence with Kaiden panorama head
"Cafe" by Jungryul Choi and Daseul Lee, CSE 455 Winter 2012 ( full size, 360° viewer)
This panorama was taken at the 6th floor stairs of CSE building, looking down the cafe. We placed one of the tripod legs over the stairs handrail and took the shots! The only difficulty I had was that I was so scared of the height and dropping the camera, so my partner has to take the pictures by himself.
"Fountain" by Jungryul Choi and Daseul Lee, CSE 455 Winter 2012 ( full size, 360° viewer)
This panorama was taken near the Drumheller fountain. There were not many people passing by, but it still has some ghosting. It would have been nicer to have the pictures taken at a higher level, so it contains the whole view of the CSE building, and less of the ground.
"Mueller" by Jungryul Choi and Daseul Lee, CSE 455 Winter 2012 ( full size, 360° viewer)
This panorama was taken in front of the Mueller hall, behind the Computer Science building. Compared to the hand-held version of the same panorama, it seems to be aligned a lot better.
"Allen" by Jungryul Choi and Daseul Lee, CSE 455 Winter 2012 ( full size, 360° viewer)
This panorama was taken at the Allen library. Due to shadowing in some pictures, the brightness of those pictures were adjusted prior to making a panorama.
Sequence taken by hand
"Mueller" by Jungryul Choi and Daseul Lee, CSE 455 Winter 2012 ( full size, 360° viewer)
This panorama is a hand-held version of the "Mueller" panorama above. It didn't align as good as the one taken with Kaiden panorama head.
Test Sequence
Test by Jungryul Choi and Daseul Lee, CSE 455 Winter 2012 ( full size)
This is a test sequence. Using default threshold, the middle picture did not align correctly so we had to use a different number for threshold and got it aligned much better.
