Mask Made with iScissor | |
I started first by making a mask in iScissors of the Tardis. Next, I made a mask of all the visible parts of Amy and The Doctor. I had to do the holes in his arms in a separate mask. The image here is a composite of all three masks. |

Final Image | |
To make the final image in Photoshop, I first applied the mask to the original image to obtain a cutout of the Tardis, Amy, and The Doctor. Then I placed them into the image of Red Square. The placement of the Tardis ended up covering up the woman in blue, which meant that her reflection was now where the Tardis' should be. To fix that, I used the healing brush to erase her reflection. Next, I tried to make convincing reflections of everything that I had just placed by first creating a copy of the layer and inverting everything vertically. Next, I skewed the copy so that the bottoms matched up. After that, I applied a motion blur and reduced the opacity so that it resembled a murky reflection. |
