It took me quite awhile to get everything working, and you can still see a small black line at the bottom. This is probably due to my translation matrix being off by a small amount. The blending function I used was more of a trapezoid than a hat but it worked out very well as you can't see the any edges.

This is a panoramic view of Seattle's Ravenna Park. The lighting in certain shots made it very hard for the LucasKanade algorithm to patch things up perfectly. When there is a big difference between the brightness, you can see a lot of ghosting in the image, especially where the lighting change was less dramatic. The Kaiden head was a bit loose for this part too, so we got a lot of drift in our shots and because of that you can see the black lines on both the top and bottom of the image, even after the drift adjustment. The panoramic view does a good job of hiding a lot of these mistakes though, but the glaring difference of where the image is cut is still very visible. If I had more time, I'd like to go back out to the same spot on a more cloudy day and take some more level shots.

This is the hand sequence of shots that Tim took. I actually like the setting much better than our kaiden pictures. There was some major light issues with the tree in the left of the image. Also our shots of the brick house left a ghosting effect on the back part of it. This was put together with 17 shots and it seems that the ghosting towards the end is could be a result of this. Our shots towards the seam are very ghosty and I wonder if this is partially because of only taking 17 shots into consideration when doing the panorama.
