Making of - Markus Hornsten

1. I started out with these two images, with the idea of replacing the statue with David Hasselhoff

2. The first thing I did was to make two masks for David, one for the whole body and another for the holes.

3. Using Photoshop and the masks, I cut out David from the picture

3. To make David look more like a statue, I first added a facet filter and then color filled the whole image, and the finally made his trunks less distinct and resized the image

4. Finally, I cut out the original statue by pasting background texture over it and then pasted David into the image
