Original Images
I wanted to make sure our version of the course continued the tradition of using Prof. Seitz's photo.
Here are the images I used.
A photo of Prof. Seitz used by a previous student of this course.
The painting of some woman smiling.
The Mask..made with the awesome app called iScissor
I only have one mask coz I only needed the prof's face.
Final Image
To arrive at my final image, I followed the simple steps below.
1. Open all three images in the amazing app called Photoshop. By all three, I mean the background, prof. seitz and the mask.
2. Create a layer in the woman's image
3. Cut and paste Prof. Seitz's picture on that layer
4. Create a layer mask for that layer.
5. Following this " dewey " guy's instruction, I alt-click on the mask thumbnail and ctrl+c ctrl+v my mask on their.
6. Did some scaling and color adjustments to match the background.
7. Did a little blurring on the edges of the mask.
8. That's it.
