Panoramic Mosaics

There is nothing too special about my implementation of this assignment.  I used a simple linear hat function for the blend, and didn't have time to fix the ghosting artifacts present in both my panorama taken with the Kaidan head and the one taken by hand.  If I had more time, I would definitely make a few changes.  A smoother blend function for sure, and also some refinements of Lucas-Kanade to try and adjust the discontinues caused by moving objects (such as me) and exposure differences.

Kaidan Shots:

I took these shots using the 10 second self timer on the camera.  Were I able to stand still while someone else took them, this probably would've turned out better.

Handheld:

I tried two different sets of Lucas-Kanade with these.  For the first, I simply used the default 200 value for every iteration.  For the second, seen below, I compared shots in Photoshop to try and get a closer approximation for the initial values.  It still didn't turn out that well, but it's much better than before.
