Catalog Description

Search engine architecture, spiders, index structures, Boolean processing. Information retrieval, ranking, latent semantic indexing, hyperlink analysis. Datamining, information extraction, summarization, clustering, collaborative filtering. Design of web services, database connectivity, XML processing. Cryptography, privacy, security, e-commerce, micropayments. Prerequisite: CSE major and permission of the instructor. (Here's what I'm looking for.)
