  "Strongly encouraged" text for the course
• The Linux Kernel
  Required text for the course, available online. A locally stored copy is kept here. No attempt will be made to keep the local copy synch'ed with the official copy.
• The C Programming Language
  The standard C book. Not available online, unfortunately, but the UW Libraries is full of copies.
