Instructions for creating a PDF in the labs

1. Create your write-up in the word-processor or editor of your choice.
2. Open the print dialog, as if to print your document. See screenshot.
3. Select one of the lab printers, either ps232 or ps329. Check the "Print to file" check box as shown in this screenshot.
4. Push the print button and save it as Z:\cseuserid-proj1.ps .
5. Open the start menu and select "Run". Enter "\\ifilesrv2\distiller" (without the quotes). You should see a window as seen in this screenshot.
6. Now, drag your file from your Z drive into the "in" folder that comes up.
7. Go into the "out" folder and fetch your document.
8. Finally, remove your PDF file from the out folder.
