Exam Dates

• Midterm: 5/1, 9:30am – 10:20am.
• Final: 6/10, 8:30am – 10:20am.

• Exam location: Due to our large class size, we need to use 2 rooms for the exam. Your room assignment is based on your section registration.
  • CSE2 G20 (usual classroom): Sections AA, AB, AC, AD
  • CSE2 G10: Sections AE, AF
• The exam will start promptly at 8:30am. Please show up 10 mins early to settle in and ensure you can start on time.
• Husky ID: Please bring your Husky ID to the exam. If you do not have your Husky ID for some reason, please bring an alternate form of photo identification.
• Exam format: You can expect there to be multiple choice, true/false, and short answer/fill in the blank questions on the exam. There will be more short answer/fill in the blank questions this year compared to previous years.
• Materials: You are allowed one 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper each on the exam. You may use both sides of the sheet of paper. It can be handwritten or typeset.
• Tested Content: Tested Content: The exam will cover all content in this class, except for the 6/5 lecture (SVD and matrix completion) and the SVD part of section 10. Note that many of the previous exams don't have questions on RNNs, LSTMs, Language Modeling, or Transformers. Those lectures are still tested, but we're sorry that the study materials aren't as extensive.
• Just like the Midterm, expect the final exam to have more short answer/fill in the blank questions than previous quarters.
