What is the basic idea behind SQL Server 7.0?

"Microsoft® SQL Server™ version 7.0 is a defining release for Microsoft's database products, building on the solid foundation established by SQL Server version 6.5. As the most robust database for the Windows Family, SQL Server is the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) of choice for a broad spectrum of corporate customers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) building business applications. Customer needs and requirements have driven significant product innovations in ease of use, reliability and scalability and data warehousing."

After using this product for a while, I'd have to agree that this is the most robust version of their SQL Server databases.  MSSQL Server is a very user friendly approach to developing a database based in SQL.  It uses the basic relational database model and allows the user to basically point and click their way through the development of the database rather than writing everything from a command line.  Beyond just the developer's standpoint, the administrator of the system will have an easy time taking care of the various people developing on his servers.  All in all, it's a great product.
