Q1. What should I do if using "For XML" results in a truncated result set.

A1. In Query Analyzer->Tools->Options->Results, set the max column size to 
8192, the maximum allowed. Choose the option to send query results to 
file. In the file that u get, there will be newline characters after every 
8192 characters. Apart from that, the file will be fine.Open the file in 
a text editor, and just remove all the newlines.
