The following information is intended only as a guide for judging your midterm grade. Some people have requested info. on what the numeric grade "means", so here's a rough breakdown in terms of letter grades (which, of course, we don't use here, but which should give you some idea of how well you're doing). The number of grades in each range is in parentheses:
A: 85-100 (20)
B: 71-84 (21)
C: 55-70 (9)
D: 41-54 (1)
F: 0-40 (0)
