Sunlight exposure tracking is done all by the puppy through a solar panel on its back as it follows the user throughout the day.
People have trouble remembering to receive treatment, so the user can set reminders on the application and get notified by the puppy.
Through a detailed analysis tab, users are able to view the correlation between sunlight exposure and mood overtime.
After a strenuous process of identifying potential user groups, we went out and interviewed one person from each group in order to get a better understanding of what those users face, how the currently try to cope, and where LUX could improve those processes.
An important step in knowing whether or not we truly understood our user base was creating a visualization of all the features that we identified as necessary through the interview process.
After completing an initial heuristic evaluation of our paper prototype, we approached three different individuals who fell into our user groups for half an hour of their time to go through a testing scenario with us.
After two iterations of changes in the paper prototype phase we went to work on creating higher fidelity representations of our final product, which needed another iteration of two itself.
