Students taking a course typically wish to track their progress at an individual level, and also perform comparisons with peers. However, there is no direct or easy way to do this currently, with the exception of approaching professors and course instructors who can provide data only at a quantitative level. Hence, the purpose of the app ClassTrakker is to enable a student to track his/her academic progress in a course, and compare it with that of other students in the class.
Multiple assignments can be tracked across multiple courses using this app. At the quantitative level, the app allows a student to track his/her grades in the assignments of a course, and also displays the time taken to complete a particular homework assignment. At the qualitative level, the app allows students to compare progress with classmate, looking at emotions elicited by each assignment and the extent to which an assignment resulted in learning.
