Emergency Blue Lights

Emergency phones are located throughout campus. Outdoor emergency phones are mounted
on blue polls with blue lights on top. The UW Police are able to locate you within
one-to-two minutes on campus when you use a campus emergency phone.

The UWPD is one of only 51 university or college police departments nationally accredited
through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.

Husky Night Walk

The Husky NightWalk Program is a uniformed guard assistance program that uses full-time
security guards to assist students, staff, and faculty members to various locations
on campus and within a one-mile radius off campus.

SARIS is a confidential and safe starting point for students affected by sexual
assault, relationship violence and stalking.

Husky Night Ride

NightRide is a shuttle service that provides a safe and easy way for U-PASS members
to get home at night.

The SafeCampus website provides information on counseling and safety resources,
University policies, and violence reporting requirements that help us maintain a
safe personal, work, and learning environment.
