Assignment 2: Problem Formulation and Solving Techniques. You may work solo on this or in a partnership of two. (lead staff member: Emilia; co-lead: Sahil) Assignment 3: Written exercises on search (Individual work). The exercises are due Monday night, October 27. Students will get two grace days, meaning the last time to submit without a late penalty will be Wednesday night, Oct. 29. Note: the latest turn-in for partial credit on this assignment is Friday, October 31, because the staff will be releasing solutions right after that so that students can have them available while studying for the midterm exam. For those who wish to submit Latex-formatted solutions, a Latex template file and the needed image files is available here: a Zip archive. Assignment 4: Adversarial Search in the game of "K in a Row with Forbidden Squares." You may do this assignment either individually or in a team of 2 (preferred). (lead staff member: Krish, co-lead: Emilia) Assignment 5: Reinforcement Learning: Value Iteration and Q-Learning. Partnership is optional. (lead staff member: Sahil; co-lead: Eric) Assignment 6: Written exercises on: Markov Decision Processes, Reinforcement Learning, Joint Distributions, D-Separation, Markov Models, Hidden Markov Models, Perceptrons, and Social/Ethical Issues in Artificial Intelligence. This is an individual-work assignment. Note: No grace days available on A6, due to the tight schedule before the final. (Also the latest turn-in time for partial credit is 48 hours past the deadline.)
