Reflective Essay #4
Reflect on each of the following topics:
- Thinking back over the period of time since your last reflective essay, what is the most useful things you
learned about software engineering from the class (other than the readings)? Describe how you
learned these things, and how they changed what you thought about software engineering.
- Thinking back over the period of time since your last reflective essay, what is the most useful things you
learned about software engineering from the readings? Describe how you used this on your project
and what you learned from using it.
As shown on the calendar, the course events that occurred since reflective essay #3 include the Microsoft visit, the
second project delivery, the testing session at Quardev, project feedback, peer review feedback, a couple of Pragmatic
Programmer chapters, personality types, and the mood chart. You might find lessons from these areas, or from
others not mentioned above.
Note:
Use no more than 1 page of plain ASCII text (do not use DOC, RTF, PS, PDF or
other binary formats).
Non-textual artifacts in the form of images, if any, are limited to 1
additional page. Use only common graphical formats, such as
JPG and GIF. (If special software - other than a common browser - is needed
in order to view your images, then you're doing something wrong.)
Should you need a scanner, you can find one in Allen 006, at least.
Save the image to JPG / GIF format and attach it to your submission.
If for some reason you are unable to scan your artifact, mention this in
your submission and bring the artifact to class on the date the essay is due.
