Getting access to your UW Homer/Ovid account

All UW students can get access to the Homer/Ovid Linux servers, here
is how.

1) Go here to enable your account:

  https://uwnetid.washington.edu/manage/

  a) Click on Computing Services
  b) Select Homer/Ovid Account and click "Subscribe" and then "Finish"

  You will be told that your Homer account is now active and your
  userID is your UWNetID.

3) To log on, from the VM (or a Mac) type:

ssh yourUWNetID@ovid.u.washington.edu

Select yes to continue connecting. Type Type your UWNetID password to
log in.
