Project 7, Part I: Midterm Corrections

Due Date: Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:59pm

Please note that no late days may be used on midterm corrections.

Learning Objectives

  • Reinforce the topics covered in the course by reviewing the midterm and completing midterm corrections.
  • Identify your strengths and areas for improvements with the topics we have covered in CSE 390B so far.

Introduction

In Part I of Project 7, you will have the opportunity to complete corrections for the CSE 390B midterm. The purpose of asking you to complete this is so that you can identify your strengths and areas for improvement in the class so far. Also, this activity will help you reflect on your exam-preparation strategy and test-taking strategies and refine those skills for your future exams.

Part I: Midterm Corrections

For this part of the assignment, you will submit a copy of the midterm exam with corrections for the problems that were incomplete or answered incorrectly. You only need to submit corrections for questions or parts of questions that were incomplete or answered incorrectly as opposed to submitting an entire copy of the midterm again. Before working on the corrections, please review the feedback on your midterm examination on Gradescope. The midterm is linked in the Resources page of the course webpage. You may use your notes, course materials, and project tools (e.g., the Hardware Simulator) as you work on corrections. You may also collaborate with other students to discuss concepts at a high level, but you may not share your solutions with other students. This is intended to be a learning experience. If you feel stuck at any point on the exam, don't hesitate to get in touch with the course staff. We're happy to help!

Grading

For the midterm problems that you answer correctly through midterm corrections, you will earn back 50% of the points that you missed on the original midterm.

Submitting Your Work

Please submit your midterm corrections as a PDF on Gradescope under the assignment titled "Project 7, Part I: Midterm Corrections."
