Navigate to the Project 7, Part I assignment on Canvas (linked here). Download the document template titled p7_Midterm Corrections & Professor Meeting Report.docx. Open the document, read the instructions on the first page, and estimate the amount of time you think it will take you to complete this project.
For this part of the assignment, you will submit a copy of the midterm exam with corrections for the problems that were incomplete or answered incorrectly. Before working on the corrections, review the feedback on your midterm examination on Gradescope. You may use your notes, course materials, and project tools (e.g., the Hardware Simulator) as you work on corrections. You may also collaborate with other students to discuss concepts at a high level, but you may not share your solutions with other students. This is intended to be a learning experience. If you feel stuck at any point on the exam, don't hesitate to get in touch with the course staff. We're happy to help!
Grading: For the midterm problems that you answer correctly through midterm corrections, you will earn 50% of the points that you missed on the original midterm back.
Submission: Submit the midterm corrections on the Gradescope assignment titled Project 7, Part I: Midterm Examination Corrections
.
For this part of the assignment, you will meet with the professor for one of your classes and write a report reflecting on your experience. Read the full instructions for the Professor Meeting Report and in the document p7_Midterm Corrections & Professor Meeting Report.docx found on Canvas (linked here) and write your report in this document.
To give you extra time to setup a meeting with your professors, the professor meeting report is not due until two weeks after the assigned day (see the deadlines listed at the top of the assignment or on the course calendar).
Since some course instructors may take a while to get back to you, we strongly recommend reaching out as soon as possible to set up a meeting. When you do meet, be sure to come prepared with a list of questions to ask. If you have emailed your professors in advance and still believe you will have trouble setting up a meeting with the professor of your choice, please utilize our course's extension request process. See our course syllabus outlining our extension request policy.
