Textbook Information: The required text is Data Structures and Algorithms in Java, 3rd ed, by Mark Allen Weiss. The readings associated with each lecture are given on the calendar with chapter and section numbers. In addition, links to selected online readings will be provided.
Programming Language and IDE: Java 8 (required); Eclipse "Neon" release (recommended).

Overflow Add Requests: If you are not yet enrolled in the course, and wish to be, come to class on Days 1 and 2 (and note the code that will be given out there), and then fill out the online overload request form. This does not guarantee enrollment, but we will do our best.
Communication: Most communication outside of class should be via GoPost (linked from "Discussion" at the left). Announcements from the staff will sometimes come via the mailing list cse373b_au16@uw.edu. Individual staff email addresses are their UWNETIDs (above under each photo) followed by "@uw.edu".
Announcements: (Sept. 30:) We are extending the deadline for background questionnaire responses to Monday night (Oct. 3) to accommodate folks adding the course this weekend.
