WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?  WHAT WAS YOUR ACADEMIC PATH?

I grew up in Redmond, Washington. I graduated from Interlake High School before coming to the University of Washington.

HOW MUCH PROGRAMMING HAVE YOU DONE (& WHAT LANGUAGES)?

I started to learn how to program in high school. My first two languages were C and Objective-C.
I've encountered various languages in various courses.
I am comfortable with Java, C, C++, and Javascript.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES, TALENTS, AND SKILLS?

I enjoy digital painting, playing the guitar, and running.
I learned the game of goldfish scooping this summer and have become decent at it.

HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING REMARKABLE?  HAS ANYTHING MEMORABLE HAPPENED TO YOU?

Worked with a volunteer team this summer to chip nonskid, paint, and bird poop from the deck of a retired battleship.
Besides the hot sun and the flying flecks of dirt, it was a good experience.

TAing for CSE351, coursework, working on the Randoop project, competing in FSE SRC in November.
