delay-updates

Suspends or resumes container size and position redraws.

• (send a-mred:frame delay-updates) -> bool

  A return value of #f indicates that calls to self-redraw-requestare immediatel passed on to force-redrawwhen the frame is visible. A return value of #t indicates that self-redraw-requestwill instead simply record that an update needs to occur once updates are no longer blocked.

  
  

• (send a-mred:frame delay-updates delay?) -> void
      delay? : boolean

  If delay? is #t, then container redraw requests via self-redraw-requestwill be queued as pending. If delay? is #f then redraw requests will occur normally; if an earlier redraw is pending, self-redraw-requestis called immediately.
