Determining the Platform

The platform running MrEd is described by two global variables:

• wx:platform -- 'unix, 'windows, or 'macintosh.
• wx:window-system -- 'motif, 'xview, 'windows, or 'macintosh.

MzScheme's system-type procedure can also be used; this provides essentially the same information as wx:platform.
