      thunk : procedure of no arguments
      delay = the value returned by mred:cursor-delay : integer

  Evaluates (thunk) with a watch cursor. The argument delay specifies the amount of time before the watch cursor is opened. Use mred:cursor-delay to set this value to all calls.
