Project 1: ML interpreter

Instructions

• Download project-1.tar.gz, a gzip'd tarfile containing the project starter files and put it somewhere under your Unix home directory. You can get it there in any number of ways: you can mount your home directory as a Windows share, you can use SSH Secure File Transfer (a.k.a. sftp), or you can simply paste the command

  wget http://www.cs.washington.edu/education/courses/cse341/04wi/homework/project-1.tar.gz

  at the Unix command prompt.
• Unpack the archive by typing

  tar -xzvf project-1.tar.gz

  This will create a new directory named miniml with all the course files.
• Read the README file included in this directory and follow the instructions.
• Turn in a hard copy of eval.sml in class, and an electronic copy as an email attachment sent to Sandra.
