Office Hours (OH) are a great place to get help on homework or clarification on concepts introduced in class. This term we have a mix of in-person and online office hours. See the calendar on the home page for the latest schedule; all times are posted in PDT (GMT-7; America/Los_Angeles).
We will be using a spreadsheet to organize queueing for online and in-person office hours. To join an online OH, go to canvas, and select the online OH from the calendar. You should see a link to Zoom which you can click to join the OH zoom call. When you are ready to get help, add your name into the queue and hang out in the Zoom session. Your host will either release you from the waiting room or move you into a separate breakout room when it is your turn. For an in-person OH you will also add your name to the queue and wait in an open space away from the OH room. When the TA is ready for you to enter the room they will update the status in the spreadsheet.
NOTE: you MUST use your @cs credentials to access the queue spreadsheet; your @uw account does not have the correct permissions. Let us know if this is problematic (e.g. you are a petition or non-matriculated student).
If you're looking for help on homework, we recommend joining from your computer so that you can easily share your screen, but Zoom also lets you join meetings by calling in on a phone, or through mobile apps.
