I grew up in North Carolina and did my PhD here in the Allen School. I worked in Programming Languages, Compilers, and Parallel Computing before doing my PhD in Educational Technology & Pen Computing. I also taught CS at the University of Virginia for 5 years. I've worked a bit in applying Computing to problems in the Developing World but mostly these days my research is in Computer Science Education. Ask me about the CS Education seminar CSE590E. I love to get outdoors whenever I can: running, hiking, backpacking.

Hi! I am Ariel, and I'm excited to be TA this quarter! CSE 332 was one of the first classes I took at UW, and I loved it! I am really happy that I get to come back and continue actively engaging in the class as a TA. I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin, and I love how warm it is in Seattle during the winters. Outside of school, I love trying new bubble tea shops, eating at ramen shops with my friends and family, and traveling when I get a chance. (I walked all over London for Spring break!!) This is my second quarter TA-ing the class, and I am excited to learn & grow with you all :)

Hi everyone! I'm Arya and I'm from Bangalore, India. CSE 332 is the most interesting 300-level CS course I've taken yet and I am very excited to TA this course again. I am an avid sports fan; pretty much watch everything football (soccer) to NBA to F1. I am a big music person too, so definitely drop any suggestions. Feel free to reach out about recruiting, technical interview prep, general CS advice, or literally anything random :)

Hey all! I'm originally from Indonesia but came to UW for my undergrad (and now Master's). I'm currently a BS/MS student and I've been TAing this course since 20su, mainly working on the
infrastructure of the course. I'll be the CSE332 instructor this summer so super excited but also nervous.
Aside from school, my biggest hobby is playing video games and reading/watching manga/anime. Recently, I've been playing a lot of FF14.
