Zoom Lectures (and Sections)

The first week of the quarter we're using Zoom for lectures and sections. Most of us have plenty of (more than we want?) experience with Zoom at this point, but here are some brief reminders taken from last year about what to expect. With luck this will be only for a week, but if needed we'll take advantage of Zoom later in the quarter. Once we are back in-person, lectures will be recorded using panopto for later use and will not be broadcast live.

But first: Even if you have used the Zoom app before, please open it, check for updates, and update to the most recent version. You should have the latest version installed in case newer features are needed.

We are using the UW Zoom-in-Canvas interface for Zoom lectures and sections. Here's the plan for how that will work in CSE 331 this quarter:

Good luck and be sure to post reactions, suggestions, and comments to the class discussion board if there are things we could be doing better.
